Cherokee Artist ​

Freeman Owle has been carving and creating Cherokee crafts from a very young age. His work is displayed in wood, stone, and other materials. His subjects come from the animals and legends of the area.

Some of his works can be seen on display at the North Carolina Museum of History, the Department of Interior in Washington D.C., and the Qualla Arts and Crafts Mutual in Cherokee, NC.
